Service Description

Hatha Yoga originates from Raja Yoga, written by Maharishi Patanjali, he compiled the Raja Yoga Sutras to explain the purpose and the path of Raja Yoga, which we now know as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Hatha yoga is the simpler version without Yamas and Niyamas of Raja Yoga. To put it simply, you can say all the yoga poses and pranayama exercises, shatkarmas, bandhas and mudras can be classified as Hatha Yoga. So, if you practice any of these yoga asanas or pranayama exercises, you are practicing Hatha yoga. The literal meaning of the word is Ha (sun) and tha (moon), and are brought into balance through practice of the above mentioned exercises. Suitable for intermediate to advanced practitioners, this course supports physical vitality, mental clarity and a deeper connection between body, breath and mind, guiding you towards steadiness, ease and presence on and off the mat.
